OUR STORY

Built by an artist.
For the people who make the work.

THE 500-YEAR PROBLEM

The art world hasn't changed since the Medici.

For five centuries, the art world has run on the same model. A gatekeeper decides who is shown. A buyer pays a marked-up price. The artist receives what's left after everyone else takes their cut ?" typically 50%, sometimes less.

The internet didn't fix it. Online galleries replicated the same model with a different interface. Marketplaces commoditised the work. Social media made artists their own marketers, working unpaid hours to feed algorithms they don't own.

None of it was built around the artist. None of it connected the supplier who made the canvas, the framer who finished the work, the designer who specified it, the corporate buyer who commissioned it, the gallery who exhibited it, and the collector who bought it ?" as one connected system.

Solène Haus is the first time anyone has built that system.

WHAT WE BUILT

The world's only art ecosystem.

An ecosystem connects every layer of an economy. A marketplace connects two ?" buyer and seller. Solène Haus connects seven: artists, galleries, framers, installers, suppliers, designers, and buyers ?" all operating on aligned terms.

Everyone else is a marketplace with extra steps.

FOUNDER

Leah Justyce.

Leah is a contemporary Australian artist whose work has been licensed by Disney and featured in British Vogue, World of Interiors, and House & Garden UK. She has lived every frustration of the artist's path ?" the gallery commissions, the gatekeepers, the unpaid hours building a profile on platforms she does not own.

She built Solène Haus because no one else would. It is not a marketplace. It is not a platform. It is the first global system built to run on the people who make the work.
